Well it works out that we're not camping in the back garden of my Sister's after all. Why? The tent is TOOOOOO BBBBIIIIIGGGGG. Yep, that's right! TOO BIG! At least we worked out how the tent goes up, I guess that's something. On top of that it is now raining, so we're not having the barbecue either, and all the logs that we gathered yesterday will get wet and wont be able to be used for quite some time now. Ah well. Never mind. Such is life, and we're still going to have fun regardless. It is Thunder and Lightning, beautifull to watch.

Garden care
Friday, 26 June 2009
Hi Anybody!
Today my dear "old" Sister and I went and got some logs for the fire burner and for her fire pit which we hope to be trying out tomorrow for a wee barbecue. I know of a place where you can go and get free wood if you're willing to rummage around in the wood pile and drag them out for yourself, which Then we had to unload them at her house. We're going to be camping in her back garden tomorrow night, just her & me. Looking forward to that.
Well in order to get the tent, a big 4 m bell tent, up in her garden we first had to clean off the deck. We got the jet wash out & had fun doing that, what a mess that makes but how clean things come up. We didn't even know that the deck had gotten this dirty. Hope it dries so that we can bang down any nails that are still sticking out, we don't want them to tear the tent apart.
Then we cleaned the stairs in the garden and the patio with the jet wash, wow. So glad that the weather, which was meant to be horrendous, held out for us as long as it did, so that we got all that done. The jet wash is amazing and lots of fun to use. Well we thought so anyhow. We were like kids, "you had enough of a go it's my turn" ,"no it's not it's still my turn you wait"
It was hard work an the one hand and a lot of fun on the other.
I hope that the weather is good for tomorrow. I haven't done a lot of camping in my time.Well actually only once that I can remember, and that wasn't in anyone's back garden. So this will be a new and interesting experience for me. I hope! I will let you know next week how it went, but it should be great as it's with my Sister and we know how to have a good time together, most times. d
Well that's the end of my story telling, what about you?

what is depression?
What is depression? No I'm not having a depressive rant, I'm just asking the question to which I know the answer. I thought I might share my insight with you, so that you can understand those around you who have real deep depression.
Depression can be described in these word pictures.
Depression is like a deep chasm, it's a deep chasm in the dark, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The sides are steep, sheer faces with no hand holds, no foot holds, no way to get out of that.
Depression is like being stuck in a very, very deep well with no aid to get you out, with the walls coming in on you at the same time, threatening to crush you at any moment. When the depression is really deep, it is as though the roof is caving in at the same time as well. No light, no help and it's dark, dismal, and it stinks, while the walls come in and the roof caves in, all at the same time. And no-one hears your call for help, no-one hears your scream of fear, of despair, for help, for comfort or support.
Depression is like running away from a ferocious wild bear that's determined to tear you apart. while the bear is gaining on you, you are seemingly on a treadmill, running on the spot at high speed going nowhere.
Depression is like being stuck in a big pot of glue that is pulling you in deeper and deeper.
Depression is like being in a big obscure labyrinth where the walls keep moving and rearranging themselves all the time. You never know which way to go. We all know that a really good labyrinth can be quite difficult to navigate, let alone one where the walls keep changing.
These are just a few word picture observations that I have concluded over the years. I have put them up so that you, whoever you are, can understand what depression is really like, and that you can help people who have this affliction.
I know that they say we all get depressed some times, but there is the every one depression and there is the real thing. This is to help you see the difference, because the real thing doesn't go away at the end of the day it stays for a very long time even years, and there doesn't seem to be any one around to care for you or even to try to help you. There are ways that you can help.

D-Day
Saturday, 6 June 2009
I don't know how you feel about the D-Day landing which was today 65 years ago. When I put on my computer I saw something that I found somewhat rather disgusting, instead of honouring the fallen heroes of that day they put up something about a silly game instead.
My Father was in that war, so it's not as though the war is something that is forgotten about. People of that day are still alive. We have the freedom that we have because of these brave young men. Some of them were only 15 Years old. On both sides of the war. 15 year old boys were killing 15 year old boys, so that we can life in freedom and do what we like, when we like.
I find it hard to believe that a big company like google can be that disrespectful. I know a few stories about the war. Only a few stories, because it was to painful for my Father to talk about it. He had to watch to many Friends die right in front of him, one of whom was his best Friend for years and he saw his Friend blown in half and still alive and there was nothing my Father could do to help, and that is a memory that he will never forget, and then you get some big company that down right dishonours them, I feel very upset and disgusted by this flagrent disregard to their heroism.
I'm just watching about the D-Day and I find out a lot that I had never known simply because no one told me. Like I said it was to hard for my Father to talk.

what makes a family real
This is just to say that here is the prove of my earlier statement that a family is made up of all sorts of members. And all can be happy together. This picture makes me think of my family, and the way we fit together all a muddle but all one big happy family, just like this one. Enjoy!

friendship
I just found this and thought it goes well with one of my previous points about friendship and family, that it can be made up of all sorts of people. Different sizes, colours, and backrounds and yet they can be very close.
